Mount Holyoke College is partnered with MassRIDES, a service of the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), to offer commuter services and support our environmental initiatives. Our MassRIDES partnership reduces parking demand, improves air quality, lowers our carbon footprint, and saves you money. NuRide – Carpooling and Rewards program
NuRide is a free online service where you can get rewards when you travel by public transportation, bike, foot, carpool, telecommute or work a compressed week. Or, if you are looking to share your ride, join NuRide to find co-workers, students and other travelers going your way.
3 Easy Steps to Getting Started:
1. Join NuRide – sign up at www.nuride.com NuRide is available if you live or work in Massachusetts and is always free.
2. Take a green trip – bike to a friend’s house, walk from home, carpool with friends, or hop on a bus.
3. Enjoy Rewards – once you’ve joined NuRide, confirm your trips and get points that you can redeem for restaurant coupons, retailer discounts, and tickets to shows and attractions.
Emergency Ride Home – Staff that walk, bicycle, carpool, vanpool, or use public transportation at least twice per week, MassRIDES will reimburse you for a taxi or rental car home up to 4 times per year if you have an emergency. Staff can register for ERH at www.commute.com
