Carly Kite has deep experience in higher education marketing and communications with strength in message development, multi-channel content marketing and brand stewardship.
Kite first joined the Alumnae Association of Mount Holyoke College as the senior director of marketing and communications and led the redesigns of the Association website and “Alumnae Quarterly” magazine. In 2013, the Council for Advancement and Support of Education recognized this work with a Circle of Excellence Award in Strategic Communications.
Prior to Mount Holyoke, Kite worked at Harvard University, where she spent nearly eight years in the development office leading market research initiatives and assisting with communications planning for a $6.5 billion campaign, at the time the largest comprehensive campaign in the history of higher education. Kite has also served as an editor at MIT’s Technology Review magazine and at the computer trade magazine Solutions Integrator.
