Karen Miller brings over 20 years of experience as an educator and leader to her role at Mount Holyoke College. She creates opportunities for meaningful engagement between students and alumnae around careers. Miller is passionate about leadership development, career coaching, and helping others to discover and maximize their individual talent areas for career and life success.
She has held positions at Wheaton College’s Filene Center for Work and Learning and in both admissions and housing at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. At Amherst College, Miller served as the Associate Director of the Center for Community Engagement and Director of Leadership Programs. Her background also includes public health and youth development work. Miller has studied with the School for International Training in Kenya. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Stonehill College, an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration and an Ed.S. in Higher Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
