A delegation from Shandong Women's University visited Mount Holyoke on Friday, May 31st, and met with numerous members of the faculty and administration to discuss collaboration between the two schools, both of which are members of the Women's Education Worldwide consortium. The visit, which included tours of the library and the art museum and a briefing on the school's marketing and communications efforts, ended with a lunch at President Pasquerella's House. Among attendees at the lunch were, from left to right: Yu Shuzhong, Shandong's Dean of the Department of Art and Design; Hou Sumei, Shandong's Director of the President’s Office; Professor of Asian Studies Ying Wang; Joanne Picard, Dean of International Studies; Shandong President Fan Suhua; President Lynn Pasquerella; Elizabeth McCaffrey, Assistant Director of Admission; Kevin McCaffrey, President's Office; Felicia Gressitt Bock Professor of Asian Studies Jonathan Lipman; and Li Xiaoqin of Shandong Women's University.
