Susan Daniels

Susan Daniels is Chair of the Mount Holyoke College Theatre Department, and was recently featured as one of the “300 Best Professors” in the U.S. by The Princeton Review. A graduate of both Mount Holyoke and the Drama Studio London, she has more than 30 years of experience as a professional actor, public speaking coach, director, and theatre producer. Susan has performed in regional theatre, Off Broadway, and on the daytime drama The Guiding Light. She served as Artistic Director for the Pioneer Valley Summer Theatre, producing 55 shows during five summer seasons. Susan currently teaches Audition Technique and Acting and Public Speaking at Mount Holyoke College and is a Weissman Center Public Speaking faculty for Capstone Initiatives. She also works as a leadership trainer and consultant with Drama Works Interactive and Van Ness and Company.
