Bailey both is and isn’t an international student. Although born in New York she lived in rural England between the ages of 4 and 18 and experienced the English school system, before going on to complete her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and Math at University College London. During an internship running summer schools where she spent most of her time helping out in the classroom instead of in the office Bailey realized she wanted to teach.
Bailey has always found the connections between different subjects and their global implications as interesting as the material itself. For this reason she is very excited about Mount Holyoke’s partnership with EL Education and their holistic and international approach to education.
After three years in London she is looking forward to seeing horses on her commute again, and maybe finding some free time to ride.
