Maegan Puzas grew up in a small town near Boston, MA and then moved out to Western MA, where she attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst and graduated in 2013 with a B.S. in Biology.
Since graduation, Maegan has been tutoring on and off and working in a small local business in Amherst, where she learned how important it is to truly challenge yourself and follow your passions. Maegan is also affiliated with and is an instructor for a non-profit Environmental Philosophy school, which helps to cultivate learning through explorations in the Valley and being immersed in nature. Being connected with this school has helped inspire Maegan to take a step towards pursing a dream of teaching and sharing her wisdom with the world.
Maegan has a deep interest in Ecology, writing, and helping others. She is grateful to have had the opportunity to be a Mount Holyoke MAT student. She pursued a Secondary Education certification in Biology and remains intrigued at what lies beyond this open door.
In her spare time, Maegan enjoys spending time outdoors hiking and getting lost in the beauty of the land, creative writing, and experiencing the true essence of her lovely town of Northampton.
