I grew up in the small town of Granby, Massachusetts. As a senior at Granby High, I did my independent study within the life skills program; this experience sparked my interest in special education. In 2014 I received a bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts in Communication and Science Disorders. After graduation, I took a position as a special education paraprofessional for the Holyoke Public School District. Most of my work as a paraprofessional has been with students on the autism spectrum; autism spectrum disorders has since become a huge interest of mine. I am currently an Early Childhood Educator and interested in Language Development. I pursued additional licenses in English Language Learners and Moderate Disabilities. Outside of work and school I very much enjoy being active. Running, hiking, camping, biking, and swimming are some of my favorite activities!
