MFA Candidate, California Institute of the Arts.
Jacqueline received her BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing. After interning at 826 Valencia in San Francisco, CA, where she supported students’ excitement for the literary arts, she found that her passion lay in teaching. Soon afterwards, she graduated from Mount Holyoke College with an MAT in elementary education where she developed a profound interest in the genre-based approach to teaching writing. Jacqueline is currently an MFA candidate in Poetry at California Institute of the Arts. She hopes to continue working with children on their writing skills after she graduates.
