Crime and Fire Logs September 2015

September:
 
On September 29 at 8:57 am officers and SHFD responded to the psych building (Reese)  for a fire alarm. The cause for alarm was steam coming from a pipe located in room 124, and electrician and facilities staff were on location to address the problem (1501-897-OF).
 
On September 28 at 10:20 am a student came to the Campus Police station to file a report of a larceny. Items are missing from a residence in Abbey hall (1501-891-OF).
 
On September 27 at 4:47 pm officers responded to Gorse lot for a report of damage to a motor vehicle. A student was concerned that new dents were present on the vehicle (1501-883-OF).
 
On September 27 ay 12:05 am officers responded to Mary Wooley hall for a fire alarm. The alarm was purposely pulled by fire personnel in attempt to disperse the crowd (1501-881-OF).
 
On September 27 at 1:42 am officers responded to MacGregor hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and refused further treatment (1501-880-OF).
 
On September 26 at 5:52 pm officers responded to the Campus Police station to assist a citizen. The request was a dispute among students over property the property was located and returned (1501-876-OF).
 
On September 26 at 2:44 am officers responded to Macgregor hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and refused further treatment (1501-872-OF). 
 
On September 26 at 12:43 am officers responded to Mandelle hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and refused further treatment (1501-870-OF).
 
On September 25 at 11:44 pm officers responded to MacGregor hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and declined further treatment (1501-869-OF).
 
On September 25 at 1:00 pm officers responded to Kendall hall to assist a citizen. A couple had been separated and officers helped to locate the other and gave a courtesy transport (1501-867-OF).
 
On September 25 at 12:01 am officers responded to Abbey hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for additional care (1501-865-OF).
 
On September 24 at 4:01 officers and SHFD responded to 3 Park Street for a fire alarm. The cause for alarm was burnt popcorn, residents were advised to practice safe cooking (1501-861-OF).
 
On September 24 at 3:11 pm officers responded to the Library to issue a trespass. A resident of a nearby town had been disruptive in the past singing in the library and asked not to return (1501-858-OF).
 
On September 24 at 2:19 pm officers and SHFD responded to Macgregor hall for a fire alarm. The cause for alarm was a dirty detector (1501-857-OF).
 
On September 22 at 8:21 pm officers responded to Kendall hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for additional care (1501-855-OF).
 
On September 22 at 6:31 pm officers responded to the front lobby of Campus Police to take a report of a Larceny. Signs encouraging fossil fuel investment were missing from 4 locations (1501-852-OF).
 
On September 22 at 3:14 pm officers responded to Clapp hall for a report of Vandalism. A display case was hit with a sign and the glass was broken (1501-850-OF).
 
On September 21 at 12:36 am while securing the Village Commons officers found the west door of Odyssey bookshop open, re-secured the door and notified a key holder. At 7:44 am officers responded to the Odyssey bookshop for a report of B&E, SHPD were also notified and were taking over the investigation (1501-41-FI).
 
On September 21 at 12:17 am officers responded to Pratt hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for additional care (1501-840-OF).
 
On September 20 at 8:04 am officers responded to Pratt hall for a report of hazardous conditions. A propane tank was found outside and taken for safe keeping (1501-836-OF).
 
On September 20 at 2:59 am officers responded to Brigham hall for a report of a mental health issue. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for additional care (1501-835-OF).
 
On September 19 at 4:15 pm officers assisted a student in the Campus Police lobby. The student was concerned about another student (1501-834-OF).
 
On September 19 at 1:21 am officers responded to Creighton hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated by student EMT's and did not require further care (1501-830-OF).
 
On September 19 at 12:43 am officers responded to the Blanchard bus stop for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-829-OF).
 
On September 19 at 12:48 am officers responded to Creighton hall for a medical emergency. It was determined that the student did not need to be transported to the hospital (1501-828-OF).
 
On September 18 at 6:02 officers responded to the Presidents house for a suspicious person. No one was found in the area (1501-823-OF).
 
On September 15 at 1:08 am officers responded to Torrey hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and is having a friend transport her to the hospital (1501-802-OF).
 
On September 14 at 10:48 pm officers responded to Prospect hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-801-OF).
 
On September 13 at 6:37 pm officers and SHFD responded to Ham hall for a fire alarm. The cause for alarm was burnt food (1501-795-OF).
 
On September 13 at 3:56 pm officers responded to Health services for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-794-OF).
 
On September 13 at 5:14 am officers responded to Safford hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-792-OF).
 
On September 9 at 4:43 pm officers responded to the Equestrian center for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-774-OF).
 
On September 9 at 10:03 am officers assisted a student in the Campus Police station (1501-772-OF).
 
On September 9 at 2:01 am officers and SHFD responded to Creighton hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-771-OF).
 
On September 8 at 3:47 pm officers took a report for a faculty member of suspicious activity. A letter was sent with political propaganda (1501-767-OF).
 
On September 8 at 12:34 pm officers responded to the amphitheatre for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-766-OF).
 
On September 8 at 12:48 pm officers and SHFD responded to Carr lab for a fire alarm. The cause for alarm was hydrants being flushed in the area (1501-765-OF).
 
On September 6 at 5:29 pm officers and SHFD responded to Health services for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-759-OF).
 
On September 5 at 3:13 pm officers and SHFD responded to Blanchard hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-757-OF).
 
On September 5 at 8:22 am officers and SHFD responded to MacGregor hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-755-OF).
 
On September 4 at 10:04 pm officers responded to North Mandelle hall for a report of harrassment. Officers assisted the student with legal options (1501-754-OF).
 
On September 4 at 6:39 pm officers responded to Buckland hall for a report of suspicious activity. A student asked officers to get in contact with two individuals and ask them not to have further contact with her (1501-752-OF).
 
On September 4 at 2:53 pm officers and SHFD responded to Dickinson hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-751-OF).
 
On September 4 at 2:05 pm officers and SHFD responded to Creighton hall for a medical emergency. A student was transported to the hospital for further care (1501-750-OF).
 
On September 3 at 11:48 am officers responded to Prospect hall for a violation of trespass. Yvia M. Walker of Acushnet, MA was placed under arrest and transported to the South Hadley Police station for booking (1501-748-OF) (1501-5-AR).
 
On September 3 at 1:18 am officers responded to North Mandelle hall to issue a trespass (1501-744-OF). 
On September 2 at 5:40 pm officers and SHFD responded to Prospect hall for a fire alarm. The cause of alarm was a malicious pull at the station, there are no suspects at this time (1501-743-OF).
