Crime & Fire Logs April 2015

On April 28 at 9:55 am officers conducted a Police investigation at Gorse school. SHFD responded to a 911 call for smoke caused by melting crayons (1501-487-OF).

On April 27 at 7:56 pm officers responded to Blanchard hall for a report of an A&B. A unknown male walked up to a student and kissed her (1501-483-OF).

On April 26 at 9:22 pm officers responded to North Mandelle hall for a report of a mental health issue. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for further care (1501-479-OF).

On April 26 at 2:04 am officers responded to South Rockefeller hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and found to be clearly communicating and did not need further care (1501-475-OF).

On April 25 at 12:24 pm officers responded to South Mandelle hall for a report of annoying behavior. A student and a friend had been staying in the common room, but asked to make other arrangements (1501-474-OF).

On April 22 at 10:37 pm officers and SHFD responded to the Ortega house for a fire alarm. The cause of alarm was cooking smoke (1501-461-OF).

On April 21 at 7:45 pm officers responded to MacGregor hall for the report of a Larceny. This is a dispute between roommates (1501-457-OF).

On April 20 at 10:48 pm officers responded to the Library for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for further care (1501-454-OF).

On April 19 at 1:15 am officers and student EMT's responded to Wilder hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and asked to call Campus Police if she felt worse (1501-449-OF).

On April 19 at 1:10 am officers responded to Creighton hall for a disturbing the peace call. A party involving 30-40 students was disbursed and peace was restored (1501-447-OF).

On April 18 at 1:49 pm officers responded to the Art building for a medical emergency. A student injured her toe and was provided care and asked to check in with health services if the pain got worse (1501-445-OF).

On April 18 at 3:02 am officers responded to Pearsons hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for further care (1501-444-OF).

On April 17 at 4:07 pm officers responded to Wilder hall for a report of a Larceny. A large sum of cash was taken out of a bag left in the common room (1501-440-OF).

On April 17 at 9:33 am officers took a report of an assault (1501-438-OF).

On April 17 at 7:33 am officers and SHFD responded to the Newhall Center for a fire alarm. HVAC and electrical staff were on site repairing a part that had failed in the sprinkler system (1501-436-OF).

On April 14 at 10:52 am officers and SHFD responded to 3 Park street for a fire alarm. The cause of alarm was cooking smoke (1501-425-OF).

On April 13 at 8:57 pm officers responded to the library for a report of disturbing the peace, a male was asked to gather belongings and vacate the area (1501-423-OF) Case closed.

On April 13 at 1:42 pm officers responded to Wilder hall for a Medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for additional care (1501-420-OF).

On April 13 at 12:47 pm officers responded to the art building for a report of vandalism. A finger was broken off of a sculpture (1501-419-OF) Case open.

On April 10 at 11:32 am a student came in to the Campus Police station to report a larceny. An Iphone was stolen out of an unattended backpack in Kendall hall (1501-408-OF). Case open

On April 8 at 8:02 pm officers took a report at the Campus Police station which involved students and the boots thefts on campus, property was recovered (1501-398-OF).

On April 7 at 10:44 pm officers responded to Clapp hall to assist a citizen (1501-396-OF).

On April 6 at 12:16 pm officers responded to North Rockefeller hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and transported to Health services for further care (1501-390-OF).

On April 5 at 2:55 pm a student came in to report a larceny that was discovered the night before in Macgregor hall (1501-387-OF).

On April 5 at 1:38 pm a student came into to the Campus Police station to report a larceny. The phone was left unattended in Creighton hall common area and stolen (1501-386-OF).

On April 5 at 12:26 am officers and SHFD responded to Porter hall for a fire alarm. The cause of alarm was cooking smoke (1501-382-OF).

On April 4 at 11:00 pm officers and student EMT's responded to 1837 hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and asked to check in with health services in the morning (1501-381-OF).

On April 3 at 10:17 pm officers responded to McGregor hall for a report of a larceny, false pretenses (1501-377-OF).

On April 2 at 4:55 pm officers and SHFD responded to Kendade hall for a fire alarm. The alarm was activated by cooking smoke, burnt popcorn, the area was ventilated (1501-372-OF).

On April 2 at 11:44 pm officers and student EMT's responded to Ham hall for a medical emergency. A student was evaluated and treated and asked to check in with health services in the morning (1501-373-OF).
