Crime & Fire Logs January 2014

On January 31 at 9:15pm officers responded to Safford Hall for a fire alarm.  SHFD responded (Incident #1401-75-OF).

On January 31 at 2:32am some property was turned in to the department (Incident #1401-74-OF).

On January 31 at 11:32am officers responded to Buckland Hall for a fire alarm.  SHFD responded (Incident #1401-73-OF).

On January 30 at 6:56pm officers responded to Ham Hall for a medical emergency.  A student was evaluated and declined further treatment (Incident #1401-71-OF).

On January 29 at 9:58pm officers responded to Creighton Hall for a medical emergency.  A student was evaluated and referred to the Health Center (Incident #1401-69-OF).

On January 29 at 6:24pm officers took a report of an off campus incident.  The officer filed the information (Incident #1401-68-OF). 

On January 28 at 4:38pm officers took a report of a larceny.  A student reported their debit card stolen and unauthorized charges made (Incident #1401-65-OF).  Case open.

On January 27 at 2:42pm officers took a report of a larceny.  A student reported their watch taken from where it was left it in Kendall (Incident #1401-64-OF).  Case open.

January 20 and January 26:

On January 26 at 12:27am while on patrol at Chapin officers observed a medical emergency an intoxicated student.  The student was evaluated and determined not in need of additional care (Incident #1401-62-OF).

On January 25 at 11:35am officers responded to Reese Hall for a fire alarm.  SHFD responded (Incident #1401-60-OF).

On January 25 at 10:40am officers responded to Kendall Hall for a fire alarm.  SHFD responded (Incident #1401-59-OF).

On January 25 at 8:45am while on patrol officers observed a large build up of ice and a water leak.  Facilities was notified (Incident #1401-58-OF).

On January 25 at 2:02am officers responded to 1837 Hall for a medical emergency an intoxicated student.  The student was evaluated and transported to the Hospital for additional care (Incident #1401-56-OF).

On January 24 at 8:54pm while on patrol officers observed a vehicle parked in violation of parking regulations.  The driver was identified and warned for this and driving with excessive speed on Campus and given his last warning with the help of an interpreter (Incident #1401-54-OF).

On January 24 at 5:55pm officers responded to Prospect Hall for a college policy violation.  A student and her guest were identified and a referral was made to the Deans (Incident #1401-53-OF).

On January 23 at 5:28pm officers responded to Wilder Hall for a medical emergency.  A staff member was evaluated and transported to the Hospital for additional care (Incident #1401-51-OF).

On January 23 at 4:50pm officers responded to Blanchard Hall to take a report of a larceny.  A student reported his shoulder bag with his Macbook missing after he had taken the bus (Incident #1401-50-OF).  Case open.

On January 23 at 1:46pm officers responded to the Otto Kohler parking lot for a report of damage to a college vehicle (Incident #1401-49-OF).

On January 22 at 11:05pm officers responded to Blanchard Hall for a medical emergency.  A student was evaluated and transported to the Hospital for additional care (Incident #1401-47-OF).

On January 21 at 9:57pm officers responded to Brigham Hall to take a report of a larceny.  A student reported her boots stolen from outside of her door (Incident #1401-43-OF).  Case open.

On January 21 at 1:46pm while on patrol officers were approached by a student with a medical emergency.  A student was evaluated and transported to the Health Center for additional care (Incident #1401-42-OF).

On January 21 at 10:50am officers responded to Hooker Auditorium for a medical emergency.  A student was evaluated and transported to the hospital for additional care (Incident #1401-41-OF).

On January 21 at 7:32am officers responded to Hooker Auditorium for a medical emergency.  A staff was evaluated and she would seek additional treatment on her own (Incident #1401-40-OF).

On January 20 at 12:50pm officers took a report of vandalism to college property.  Facilities was aware of the damage (Incident #1301-1401-36-OF).

January 13 and January 19:

On January 17 at 10:04pm officers responded to MacGregor Hall for a fire alarm.  SHFD responded (Incident #1401-33-OF).

On January 17 at 7:37pm officers responded to Wilder Hall for a medical emergency.  A student was evaluated and first aid was administered (Incident #1401-31-OF).

On January 15 at 5:48am officers responded to Kendall Hall for a fire alarm.  SHFD responded (Incident #1401-26-OF).

On January 14 at 5:57pm officers responded to Mead Hall for a college policy violation.  There was no response at the parties' room and a referral was made to the Deans (Incident #1401-24-OF).

On January 13 at 7:25am officers responded to the boat house to for a report of an unoccupied boat floating in the area.  Athletic personnel were notified (Incident #1301-1401-21-OF).

January 1 and January 12:

On January 104 at 4:56pm officers responded to Ham/MacGregor parking lot for a larceny.  A staff member reported credit cards and cash missing from her vehicle that may have been left unlocked (Incident #1301-1401-14-OF).

On January 8 at 10:00am while on patrol in Gorse Lot officers observed damage to a motor vehicle.  The owner was notified (Incident #1301-1401-11-OF).

On January 4 at 1:15pm officers responded to Blanchard Hall for a maintenance problem.  SHFD and Facilities were notified (Incident #1301-1401-6-OF).

On January 4 at 10:10am officers responded to the library for a maintenance problem.  Facilities was notified (Incident #1301-1401-4-OF).
