Received a grant from the Wenner-Gren Foundation for the workshop, “Knowledge, Facts and Evidence in Anthropology in the Era of ‘Post-Truth,’” to take place over three days in August 2022 at Mount Holyoke.

Fellowship from the American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT) with support provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for the project “Oppressive Generosity, Compulsory Guesthood, and the Politics of Hospitality in Turkey.” The project is for six months.

Received a subaward from the National Science Foundation (NSF) via Duke University for The  Alliance  for  Identity-Inclusive  Computing  Education  (AIICE):  A Collective Impact Approach to Broadening Participation in Computing.

Fellowship from the New England Foundation for the Arts for their New Work New England project: Concourse. The fellowship is for one year.

Received a grant from the National Science Foundation for the project 'CAREER: Integrating Form and Function in the Coevolution of Copulatory Traits. The project is for five years.

Received supplemental funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for RUI: Exploring range limits in the fiddler crab Uca pugnax using the Dynamic Energy Budget approach. 

Grant from the Japan Foundation, Los Angeles for Special Covid-19 Relief Grant for Japanese Teaching Materials.

Fellowship from the New England Foundation for the Arts for their New Work New England project: Concourse. The fellowship is for one year.

Received a grant from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for Collaborative Research: Redox Ratios in Amphiboles as Proxies for Volatile Budgets in Igneous Systems. The project is for three years.

Received a grant from the Consulate General of Italy, Boston, to support an Italian tutor.

Received a subaward from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) via the Planetary Science Institute (PSI) PDART for Acquisition of Multi-Parameter LIBS Reference Database of Geological Materials. The project is for three years.

Receieved a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for “Collaborative Research: Developing Biology Undergraduates’ Scientific Literacy and Identity Through Peer Review of Scientific Manuscripts,” under the IUSE (Improving Undergraduate STEM Education: Education and Human Resources) program. The project is for three years.

Received a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for EAGER: Collaborative Research: Towards an Extensible Internet.

Native American and Indigenous Studies Mellon Award by Five Colleges, Incorporated (FCI) and the Gathering at the Crossroads project, for a residency project with Native composer Jerod Impichchaachaaha’ Tate leading to the creation of a new course and the first ever full-length Chickasaw opera, Shellshaker. The project is for one year. This funding is made possible thanks to support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. 

Received a subaward from the National Science Foundation (NSF) via Michigan State University for Assessing Institutional Assets, Vulnerabilities, and Synergies using a STEM Mentoring Ecosystem Framework: A Multi-Institutional, Interdisciplinary Workshop. The grant runs for 15.5 months.
