Keeping Kosher for Passover

The Office of Religious & Spiritual Life at MHC and the Jewish Student Union invite you to celebrate Passover 2013 with us!

Please note that Passover starts the day you come back from mid-semester break.

Passover is a holiday that commemorates the Exodus of the Jews from Egypt and the beginning of spring!  During this eight day celebration, the JSU and the Office of Religious & Spiritual Life will be providing Kosher for Passover food in the Eliot House Lounge, in accordance with the dietary observance of this holiday.  Everyone is welcome to join us.  NOTE: Reservations are required for all meals!! It is imperative that we have an accurate head count.

Please go to Passover Meal Registration Form.

We especially encourage you to attend our Passover Seders!  The first one on Monday, March 25 at 6:30 p.m. will be traditional and led by Amelia Ender, Chaplain to the College and Advisor to the Jewish Community; the second Seder will be a Student Led Seder, on Tuesday, March 26 at 6 p.m.  Join us in celebrating this inspiring holiday! We need your Passover Meal Registration Form submitted by March 8th to ensure we have enough food for everyone who would like to participate.

Faculty and staff are welcome to join the Jewish community anytime during Passover week.  Are you Jewish and would like a Kosher for Passover lunch? Are you curious about the Passover Tradition?  Please go to the url above to sign up by March 8th for the dates and times you would like to join us for a meal.

If you have a disability and would like to attend any of our events, please contact Gayle Higgins, 413-538-2054, or one week in advance of the event to discuss your accommodation needs.
