Don't Forget to Register!

If you have not done so already, please register to stay on campus during Spring Break. You can register by logging in to my.mtholyoke. Your Registration must be completed by March 7, 2019.

Meals

The Dining Commons will be open over Spring Break at the times listed below.  Please note, not all stations will be opened during these days.  Students can use a Board Swipe (full board plan only), Dining Dollars, MHCXpress, or Cash.  

  • Friday, March 8 - dining will close at 9 pm
  • Saturday, March 9 - Saturday, March 16 - dining will be open the following hours with limited stations:
    • Breakfast 7:15-9 am
    • Lunch 11:30 am-1:30 pm
    • Dinner 5-6:30 pm
  • Sunday, March 17 - dining will resume normal hours
    • 7:15 am-4 pm and 5 pm-12:00 am

Transportation to the Grocery Store & Mall

Sunday March 10, 2019: Shuttle to Holyoke Mall, departing from Blanchard Bus Stop. (Tickets on a first come first serve, 32 passenger capacity)

  • Departure from Blanchard Bus Stop: 11:30 am, 12:30 pm
  • Returning to campus JCPenney:  3 pm, 4 pm

Monday March 11, 2019: Shuttle to Big Y, departing from Blanchard Bus Stop at 1:30 pm and ending at 3:30 pm. (First come first serve, 32 passenger capacity)

  • Departure from Blanchard Bus Stop: 1:30 pm, 2 pm, 2:30 pm, 3 pm, 3:30 pm, 
  • Returning to campus: 2:15 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:15 pm, 3:45 pm, 4:15pm

Events

Res Life and Student Program Staff are planning some fun events during these days of break to keep you entertained and building community!

Monday, March 11

Crafternoon! Stop by Mead at 2 pm on Monday, March 11 for an afternoon of DIY Mug Decorating! Snacks will be provided.

Wednesday, March 13

Movie/TV Marathon! Stop by Mead at 2 pm on Wednesday, March 13 for a movie and Netflix marathon. Students at the event will be able to pick what they would like to watch!

Friday, March 15
Spa Day! Stop by Mead at 2 pm on Friday for an afternoon of nail painting and DIY crafts. Fruit and tea will be provided.

Kendall Sports Complex

Limited Campus Resources

Many offices on campus are closed or working with minimal staff over the holidays.  If you have an emergency, you should contact Campus Police at (413) 538-2304 as they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is always a Professional Staff member on call in case of emergency.  You can contact them through Campus Police by requesting to speak with the Professional Staff on Call should you need their assistance.

Blanchard Hours

  • Friday, March 8 - Building open 7 am to 9 pm.
  • Building open Saturday, March 9 & Sunday March 10 from 9 am to 9 pm.
  • Building open Monday, March 11 - Friday March 15 7 am to 9 pm 
  • Building open Saturday, March 16 & Sunday March 17 9 am to 9 pm. 
  • Regular hours resume on Monday, March 18 at 7 am.

Library and Technology Hours

  • Friday, March 8: 8 am-5 pm
  • Saturday, March 9 - Sunday, March 10: CLOSED 
  • Monday, March 11 - Friday March 15: 8:30 am-5 pm 
  • Saturday, March 16: CLOSED

Health Services and Counseling Center Hours and Information

Health Services 

The Health Center will be closed starting Friday, March 8 at 4 pm. There will be no medical services provided on campus. This includes the Health Center, Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program. 

There will be a medical clinician on call from 4 pm on Friday until 8 am on Monday, March 18, 2019.  Students can call 413-538-2242 to speak with a clinician. Students can also use cab services provided by the college to reach Urgent Care or the ER if needed.

Counseling Services 

Counseling Services will close at 5 pm on March 8.  They will resume regular hours at 8:30 am on March 18. Their 24/7 care and support line (students can talk to a live clinician who can contact campus staff as needed) can be reached at (413) 538-2037.
