If you have not done so already, please register to stay on campus during Spring Break. You can register by logging in to my.mtholyoke. Your Registration must be completed by March 5, 2018.

Meals

The Dining Commons will be open over Spring Break at the times listed below.  Please note, not all stations will be opened during these days.  Students can use a Board Swipe (full board plan only), Dining Dollars, MHCXpress, or Cash.  

  • Friday, March 9th - dining will close at 9:00 pm
  • Saturday, March 10th - Saturday, March 17th - dining will be open the following hours
    • Breakfast 7:30 am - 9:00 am
    • Lunch 11:30 am - 1:30 pm
    • Dinner 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
  • Sunday, March 18th - dining will resume normal hours
    • 7:15 am - 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm - 12:00 am

Transportation to the Grocery Store & Mall

Sunday March 11, 2018: Shuttle to Holyoke Mall, departing from Blanchard Bus Stop. (Tickets on a first come first serve, 32 passenger capacity)

  • Departure from Blanchard Bus Stop: 11:30 am, 12:30 pm
  • Returning to campus JC Penny:  3:00 pm,  4:00pm

Monday March 12, 2018: Shuttle to Big Y, departing from Blanchard Bus Stop at 1:30pm and ending at 3:30pm. (First come first serve, 32 passenger capacity)

  • Departure from Blanchard Bus Stop: 1:30 pm, 2:00 pm, 2:30 pm, 3:00 pm, 3:30 pm, 
  • Returning to campus: 2:15 pm, 2:45 pm, 3:15 pm, 3:45 pm, 4:15pm

Events

Res Life and Student Program Staff are planning some fun events during these days of break to keep you entertained and building community!

Monday, March 12th

Crafternoon! Stop by Mead at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 12th for an afternoon of DIY Mug Decorating! Snacks will be provided.

Wednesday, March 14th 

Movie/TV Marathon! Stop by Mead at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, Marth 14th for a movie and Netflix marathon. Students at the event will be able to pick what they would like to watch!

Friday, March 16th
Spa Day! Stop by Mead at 2:00 pm on Friday for an afternoon of nail paiting and DIY crafts. Fruit and tea will  be provided.

Kendall Sports Complex

  • Monday, March 12th - Friday, March 16th: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm, No Fitness Swim and No Open Swim
  • Saturday, March 17th: Closed
  • Sunday, March 18th: 10:00am - 10:00pm, No Open Swim

Limited Campus Resources

Many offices on campus are closed or working with minimal staff over the holidays.  If you have an emergency, you should contact Campus Police at (413) 538-2304 as they are open 24 hours, 7 days a week. There is always a Professional Staff member on call in case of emergency.  You can contact them through Campus Police by requesting to speak with the Professional Staff on Call should you need their assistance.

Blanchard Hours

  • Friday, March 9th Building open 7am to 9pm.
  • Building open Saturday, March 10th & Sunday March 11th from 9am to 9pm.
  • Building open Monday, March 12th- Friday March 16th 7am to 9pm 
  • Building open Saturday, March 17th & Sunday March 18th 9am to 9pm. 
  • Regular hours resume on Monday, March 19th at 7:00 am.

Library and Technology Hours

  • Friday, March 9th: 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • Saturday, March 10th - Sunday, March 11th: CLOSED 
  • Monday, March 12th - Friday March 16th: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm 
  • Saturday, March 17th: CLOSED
  • Sunday, March 18th: 6:00 pm - 2:00 am 
  • Regular hours resume on Monday March 19th at 8:00am 

Rao's Cafe

Health Services and Counseling Center Hours and Information

Health Services 

The Health Center will be closed starting Friday, March 9th at 4:00pm. There will be no medical services provided on campus. This includes the Health Center, Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program. 

There will be a medical clinician on call from 4pm on Friday until 8:00am on Monday.  Students can call 413-538-2242 to speak with a clinician.  Students can also use cab services to reach Urgent Care or the ER if needed.

Counseling Services 

Counseling Services will close at 5:00pm on March 9th.  They will resume regular hours at 8:30am on March 19th. Their 24/7 care and support line (students can talk to a live clinician who can contact campus staff as needed) can be reached at (413) 538-2037.
