My experience as a student in the Geography department at Mount Holyoke opened my eyes to new people, places, and points of view.

I learned to listen to others and appreciate that everyone has their own unique history. As an admissions counselor, I work to recruit students from around the world and help students in rural Michigan access a college education. I work with a wide range of people and assist them in navigating the college admission process. Geography teaches you to ask questions, see the big picture, and observe the landscape around you in a new way.

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Higher Education in the School of Education at the University of Michigan
