Daniel Ross is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Social Entrepreneurship at Hampshire College and CEO and principal of DAISA Enterprises LLC, which supports development of sustainable and equitable food & environmental enterprises, working with entrepreneurs to strengthen strategies and access capital, as well as the mission-driven investors and funders wanting to maximize their impact.
Daniel Ross is also co-founder and Vice-President of eKutir Global, a US-based Public Benefit Corporation which uses innovations in digital technologies and data science to provide a human-digital marketplace, serving 60,000 smallholder farmers in India and worldwide.
He is the former Executive Director of Nuestras Raíces, and former Chief Operating Officer for Wholesome Wave Charitable Foundation. He also Co-founded Energía, a worker & NGO-owned energy-efficiency services company employing formerly incarcerated young people.
Daniel holds an MBA from MIT Sloan, MIT Sloan Fellow for Innovation and Global Leadership, MIT Legatum Fellow for Development and Entrepreneurship.
