Looking for an easy and interactive opportunity for developing or sprucing up your leadership skills?
Leadershops are short 1 to 1.5 hour sessions that occur between 1 and 4 times per semester. Designed to provide approachable opportunities for students to continually develop their personal leadership skills through interactive participation. Each session features professional and/or student facilitators who present a LeaderShop focused on developing personal leadership skills with an emphasis on one of the core categories:
- General Leadership Skills
- Self-care/Personal Wellness
- Academic Success
- Diversity & Inclusion
- Career Cultivation

Vision Boards with Ju Hong, Career Counselor in the Career Development Center
Please come and participate with Ju Hong, Assistant Director for Career Advising, as she provides you the tools and background on vision boards and positive thinking around careers and dreams. A vision board is a creative medium that allows you to reflect upon your dreams and goals. The visuals provide daily encouragement and faith to work towards the future you imagine. As one evolves, so do aspirations....but the board is a reminder of who you are and the destination that you seek.
Networking with Confidence and Authenticity

Do you groan when you hear the word ‘networking?’ Do you feel nervous at the thought of talking about yourself? Do you believe only extroverts are good networkers? Or do you feel you dominate the conversation, or have a hard time listening and responding at networking gatherings?
Come to this interactive LeaderShop to learn about how to connect with others at networking functions with confidence, poise, and authenticity. The LeaderShop will include a self-assessment of what you have to offer, conversation strategies, networking etiquette and tips, and making meaningful and professional connections.
