Mount Holyoke College hosted its second annual Senior Symposium on 13 April 2007. During this day-long event, which ran from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., students showcased their intellectual passions, independent projects, and scholarly research.
Students presented their engaging and ambitious independent work in a series of panels and shared their research and work in diverse fields in the arts, humanities, social sciences, and sciences. The sessions were extremely well attended, stimulating, and inspiring. Many Symposium presenters concluded the day by attending a celebratory dinner with friends, family, and faculty advisors that was held in their honor.
The Mount Holyoke College and Five College community welcomed the opportunity to support our talented senior scholars. It was a pleasure to see our creative and academically accomplished Mount Holyoke women in action.
We look forward to seeing you next year, in April 2008, for the next dynamic symposium.
