Judith Lonnquist

Lonnquist is a member of various Bar and legal associations and she served as President of the Washington Employment Lawyers Association, on the WSTLA (Trial Lawyers) Board of Governors and on the Executive Committee for the WSBA Litigation Section. She is a graduate (2000) of the Trial Lawyers College founded by Gerry Spence. She was the Editor-in-Chief of the Washington State Employment Law Deskbook, in 2004 and 2009, and is a frequent speaker on plaintiff’s employment law and trial and appellate procedure and strategies, and is listed in America’s Best Lawyers, Seattle’s Best Lawyers, and as a “Super Lawyer” by Washington Law and Politics.

Lonnquist is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College (A.B. 1962) where she majored in Political Science. In 1965, she received her Juris Doctorate degree as one of five women in a class of 350 from the University of Chicago Law School. She is a member of the Illinois Bar (1966) and the Washington State Bar (1975). From 1972 to 1976, she served as National Legal Vice President to the National Organization for Women. She is the former General Counsel to the Washington Education Association (1975-1984) and for the past 26 years has been President of the Law Offices of Judith A. Lonnquist, P.S.
