Would you like to better understand what it’s like to have a public service job, perhaps in the State Department, at the White House Budget Office, or at the United Nations? Maybe you would like advice on your resume or how to write a convincing cover letter or personal biography that will uniquely capture your passion for public service. Perhaps you’re wondering how women balance a career as an elected official with family life. Maybe you would like to better understand the work of a national or international NGO and how it advocates on issues that impact millions of people.

Through LAPS, students interested in a public service career will have an opportunity to connect with Mount Holyoke College alumnae who are serving their countries or communities through elected office, government service, or NGO’s engaged in public policy. Additional information about LAPS Networking will be available later in the year.
