The Public Leadership Education Network (PLEN) prepares college women who are interested in enhancing their leadership skills for careers in public policy. PLEN is an exciting way to explore Washington, D.C., discover how it really works, and engage with leading women creating policy at the highest levels in the Congress, courts, federal agencies, international organizations, think tanks, diplomatic corps, corporate sector, advocacy organizations, and news media. Visit the PLEN website to learn more about the seven public policy programs for college women.
Through the Weissman Center's Student Leadership Grants program, Mount Holyoke College students have an opportunity to receive funding to support their participation in these engaging seminars that are typically held during J-term or spring/fall semester breaks. Contact the Weissman Center for more information on PLEN and Weissman Center support.
