The USA has recently voted to remove the policy, 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' that stopped soldiers from telling other people in the military if they were gay or lesbian.

Many people are very happy because now people will be able to thank US soldiers for their service as themselves, instead of making them hide who they are.

Others think that this will divide the military and make it unsafe for troops when they are fighting.
