What clients may notice about my therapeutic style:
I approach therapy from a psychodynamic perspective, with an emphasis on relational and attachment theories. My clients have reflected that I offer a calming and grounded presence - even in the midst of overwhelming situations. As a social worker, I critically consider the intersectional contexts and systems in which people are socialized. I also believe that each person can access immense inner resources and resilience, even in the midst of difficult times. I strive to be an attuned, caring and honest clinician who accompanies clients in a warm, empathetic and non-judgemental way.
When I’m not at work...
I can be found cooking with and for family and friends, playing board games, enjoying TV shows, and spending time outside watching birds.
