Why Mount Holyoke: A focus on liberal arts where I can explore multiple interests. A space that focuses the experiences of women and gender non-conforming people.

Favorite places so far: My favorite places on campus so far has to be the greenhouse and the library. The area with the Chihuly sculpture is gorgeous and the glass ceiling is a great place to watch rain storms. I grew up in the area and my favorite places to visit are Mt. Tom’s Homemade Ice Cream (where I work) and the locally owned theaters Amherst Cinema and South Hadley’s Tower Theaters, right across from campus.

Career aspirations: Working with women and children and traveling throughout Central America and the Caribbean.

Proudest moments: Graduating from Holyoke Community College after a difficult first year of school.
