Forever Uncommon began with the extraordinary generosity and leadership of those who believed in what Mount Holyoke could achieve. Their early commitments have laid a powerful foundation for this ambitious campaign. Now, we invite our entire community to build on that momentum and help shape Mount Holyoke’s future for generations to come.

A Message from President Danielle R. Holley

President Danielle R. Holley

“Mount Holyoke is where fierce intellectualism is matched by fierce humanity. Through scholarships that make education affordable, endowed chairs that make faculty excel and hands-on research that makes learning deep, generosity has built this campus to match our values. And we are still at the beginning of our story. Together, we will ensure that Mount Holyoke remains Forever Disruptive. Forever Bold. Forever Uncommon.”

Where Futures Unfold

By expanding our commitments to affordability and career readiness, we’re ensuring every student can say yes to a Mount Holyoke education — and the possibilities it creates.

As the world of work changes rapidly, launching a career demands more extensive and varied experience than ever before. While more than 8 in 10 students already take part in one Lynk-funded summer internship, we’re building on that foundation so every student can gain the full range of experiences they need to succeed.

Investment areas to expand opportunities for the next generation:

  • Financial aid and academic support services
  • Career readiness programs
  • Global learning experiences

Our Impact

Forever Going Further

Student Leaders wearing "I Love Res Life" t-shirts and laughing together

Mount Holyoke ranks #5 nationally on Princeton Review’s “Their Students Love These Colleges” list based on students’ overall satisfaction. And connections formed here extend far beyond graduation: 40,000+ alums live around the world, supported by 100+ clubs and groups across 130+ countries — all fueled by nearly 1,800 alum volunteers. Through Forever Uncommon, we will harness that momentum to renew the spaces where we discover ourselves, bond across cultures and build community for the future.

Assistant Professor of Computer Science Diane Uwacu teaches AI ethics while developing algorithms that help autonomous robots move. As one of 25 inaugural NSF NAIRR AI Education Fellows nationwide, she’s bringing leading-edge AI resources into classrooms and inviting students to the forefront of a rapidly evolving field. Through Forever Uncommon, we will create more pathways for faculty and students to pursue knowledge together and advance emerging ideas.

At the 2026 Sophomore Institute, more than 200 students interviewed one-on-one with at least one alum, gaining real insight into potential paths after graduation and practicing skills to help launch their careers. Through Forever Uncommon, we can build toward an even bigger goal: giving every Mount Holyoke student meaningful opportunities to learn from the experience of our global alum network.

Pathways to Give

A Vision This Bold Takes All of Us

Every gift is an investment in what the Mount Holyoke community can do — the ideas we’ll pursue, the paths we’ll forge and the doors we’ll open for ourselves and the world.

There are many ways you can invest in the people, places and opportunities that will help more students reach their goals and shape the future.

Alums across generations give their time and expertise to keep our community strong — from mentoring students to helping fellow alums make an impact.
