Interviews

Interviews are one of the best ways for us to learn more about your academic goals and personal experiences. While this is an optional component of our holistic application process, informational interviews also provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about Mount Holyoke. We look forward to getting to know you!

First-year applicants

Register for an interview with a Senior Admission Ambassador or alum. For prospective first-year students, we suggest scheduling an interview during the spring of your junior year or the summer/fall of your senior year. Admission staff also conduct interviews while on the road visiting high schools during the fall. Look out for specific email invitations from our office for that opportunity.

Transfer applicants

Register for an interview with a Senior Admission Ambassador or alum. Interviews are strongly recommended and must be completed by the deadlines listed below.

Frances Perkins applicants

Nontraditional aged applicants are required to interview with one of the program’s directors. These interviews must be scheduled via our interview request form. A staff member from our office will be in touch with you within 3-5 days to confirm the appointment.
