Hia Ghosh

Hia Ghosh's research is in the area of Inclusive and Equitable Computational Instruction. She is currently studying the practice and effect of multiple modalities of information representation, student engagement and knowledge expression assessments. Ghosh's prior work is in Intrinsically Motivated Structured Learning as an application of Partially Observable Markov Decision Models in Robotics. With her background in Electrical Engineering, Ghosh's research involved interdisciplinary work in human-robot learning environments, combining embedded systems and active learning. Ghosh is also an actor and often performs in the theatres in the valley!
