Robinson was born in the United Kingdom, where she studied and taught Drama in Education. She has taught in Western Massachusetts for 30 years, and draws on her enthusiasm for drama in facilitating teaching and learning. As a veteran educator she has written and produced dramatic presentations with her students. She has participated in community theatre and occasionally volunteers at the Huntington Theatre in Boston. Robinson has been a guest presenter on The Village: Diversifying Texts, Diversifying Reading which can be viewed on YouTube.
