Untangling self is an enormous task. She seeks her reflection in everything she encounters and wonders if it’s worth it. She just can’t help looking. Her hands sculpt because she trusts them to tell her the truth. What is it about something built on truth? Like a mothers womb. A river, a sky, they do not lie. It’s the listening she said, it is a most valuable sense. She carefully, attentively puts an ear, an eye, her heart to everything she comes across. It is vibrant and spacious and full of meaning.
