Robin Randall has been named the Vice President for enrollment management.

February 22, 2019

Dear Mount Holyoke community,

I am delighted to announce that Robin Randall has been named the vice president for enrollment management. This appointment follows a national search, which drew a strong and diverse field of candidates.

Robin Randall will lead Mount Holyoke’s Office of Admission for the year, beginning in September.

Robin has been serving in this role in an interim capacity since September. She came to Mount Holyoke after more than two decades at Wheaton College, where she had most recently served as assistant vice president for enrollment and student financial services.

She brings deep experience of financial aid and enrollment management and is a strategic analyst of admission data, as well as an accomplished leader in the use of technology in enrollment operations and recruitment strategy. She has worked closely with colleagues to build a diverse class.

Robin has impressed us all with her thoughtful and thought-provoking engagement, her leadership of the division, and her commitment to Mount Holyoke and to students, faculty and staff. She builds inclusive and collaborative relationships even as she asks difficult questions — questions that are already making a difference in the way we support applicants and current students.

I very much look forward to our continuing work together, and to Robin’s continued success. I am deeply grateful to the members of the committee that assisted with this search — Katie Berry, Amber Douglas, Shannon Gurek, Lenore Reilly, Mike Robinson, Marcella Runell Hall, Polly Prewitt-Freilino, Kijua Sanders-McMurtry, Mark Shea and Jon Western — and to all those who met with candidates during this process.

Please join me in congratulating Robin, who will drop the interim from her title on March 1.

Sincerely,

Sonya Stephens
President
