Caitlin Mahaffy

she/her

  • Visiting Lecturer in English

Caitlin Mahaffy completed her Ph.D in Early Modern British Literature at Indiana University, Bloomington in May 2022. Dr. Mahaffy’s research projects tend to combine queer theory and ecocriticism. Her current book project examines both medieval and early modern texts to illustrate the intrinsic connection between queerness, the environment, and its flora and fauna. Though she cares deeply about her research, teaching is Dr. Mahaffy’s greatest passion and she loves getting to know students on an individual level.
