Charell G. Coleman navigated the intricate tapestry of Elementary and Middle School education for 26 years as a dedicated educator in public and the Independent School sector. Her role as a Board Member for the Learning Disabilities Assoc. of GA exemplifies her tireless advocacy for inclusivity and equal opportunities, ensuring that no student is left behind. As a facilitator of Social Emotional Learning at MHC, Charell has pioneers innovative approaches to nurturing emotional intelligence, facilitates interactive workshops and provides teachers an opportunity to build resources and develop an implementation plan for Teacher Self Care to integrate what they are learning into their professional practice.

Her literary accomplishments, particularly as the author of “The Brown Girl Resilience Book Collection,” echo not only her literary finesse but also her profound empathy for the struggles and triumphs of People of Color. Charell’s academic journey, marked by degrees from The Alabama A&M University and the University of West Georgia, is further adorned by her New and Aspiring School Leader Certification from Harvard University. She seamlessly dons multiple hats: an author whose words inspire, a Certified Community Resilience Model Teacher whose methods heal, and a speaker whose voice resonates far beyond the confines of any room.

In her role as a mentor, Charell sculpts the future of education, shapes the minds of both educators and students through SEE Learning workshops, emphasizes positive behavioral supports, restorative practices, and the seamless integration of curriculum. Her tireless service in Delta Sigma Theta, Incorporated, underscores her sense of duty to uplift and empower her community. Beyond her professional endeavors, Charell embodies the spirit of resilience in her personal pursuits, conquering numerous 5K races and finding solace within the pages of literature.
