Erin Casioppo is a visiting lecturer who currently works as a Special Education teacher in Amherst, Massachusetts. Her background includes working as a generalist/classroom teacher, reading instructor, and ELL teacher in both middle and elementary classrooms in Oakland, California and Springfield, Massachusetts, as well as in the role of Teacher of the Deaf and Consultant across western and central Massachusetts. Erin is particularly interested in supporting the linguistic, academic, and behavioral needs of students in inclusive settings, in the neuroscience of learning, and in the integration of art, language, and academic learning.
