Kate Sawicki (she/her) serves as the Director of Lifelong Learning, Careers and Affinity for the Alum Association of Mount Holyoke College. Since joining the team in February 2023, Kate has focused on designing and scaling resources that support the personal and professional growth of MHC alums worldwide. In fall 2024, Kate co-launched the Career Connections Mentoring Program for alum-to-student mentoring opportunities alongside the Career Development Center.
With over a decade of experience in higher education, spanning residential life and alum relations, Kate brings a deep understanding of the student-to-alum journey. She is a dedicated leader in the field, having served as President of the Alumni Career Services Network and presented at national conferences. As a longtime volunteer for her own alma mater, Kate is uniquely attuned to the vital role volunteers play in the MHC community.
Kate holds a BA from the College of the Holy Cross and an MS from the University of Rhode Island. She works remotely from Northern Virginia, where she lives with her husband and dog, and where she enjoys reading, walking in the woods and baking in her spare time. Kate is always eager to connect with alums looking to share their professional expertise with the community.
