Kayla Nelson ’25, Brooklyn, New York, has a passion for fostering cross-cultural connection and shared understanding through communication and strategic collaboration. She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology at Mount Holyoke College with a self-designed major titled Investigations in Trauma and Cultural Resilience, and she completed a Nexus in global business while studying abroad at The University of Queensland, Australia.

While at Mount Holyoke, Nelson worked in the Career Development Center, supporting employer engagement initiatives and job-vetting processes. In her senior year, she joined the Alum Association, where she contributed to departmental rebranding efforts and data systems optimization. Additionally, Nelson participated in the Career Connections Mentoring Program in fall 2024, which helped prepare her for career success.

Nelson is currently a rotational analyst in the Chase Leadership Development Program at JPMorganChase, where she has led change management initiatives, overseen complex project timelines and delivered executive-level communications that drive operational efficiency and organizational alignment.
