Sarah Garijo-Garde, Area Coordinator, Be Well and Interim Associate Director of Residential Life

Sarah (she/they) is excited to join the team as an Area Coordinator working with the Be Well program. Sarah grew up in suburban Connecticut and most recently lived in central Maine. Sarah first discovered their passion for building community and promoting holistic wellbeing as both a student and professional staff member at Vassar College, where they graduated with a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior and a minor in Film Studies. In both their professional and personal life, Sarah is passionate about exploring issues pertaining to social justice and health equity. Sarah is also an avid consumer of reality TV and enjoys befriending other people's dogs. When they're not working, you can find Sarah hunting through estate sales or exploring local allergy-friendly restaurants. Sarah is thrilled to get to know the Mount Holyoke community: when you see Sarah on campus, please say hi!
