Wendy Rua

Wendy identifies and secures funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support institutional initiatives and other College priorities. 

Joining Mount Holyoke College in 2017, Wendy was previously the TLI Program Coordinator (2017-2023). Wendy also served on Staff Council from 2019- 2023. 

Wendy is an MHC alum, with a B.A. in Psychology & Education. Her previous experience includes a diversity of experiences in social work and in the public school system. 

Wendy is currently an elected official for the Town of Agawam, serving as a School Committee member. Born and raised in Western MA, she is also busy raising three sons with her husband, Mario.

The Princeton Review has released its “Best 391 Colleges” for 2026. The list, which is based on college students’ ratings of their schools, ranks Mount Holyoke College highly for campus beauty, faculty, the library, financial aid and more.
