Dear members of the Mount Holyoke community,
This morning, Hampshire College President Miriam Nelson wrote to the Hampshire community to provide an update on their “Visioning Project”and the decision to seek an institutional partner.
Since first hearing of these developments late last week, Mount Holyoke has been working to determine how Hampshire’s decisions may impact our students, faculty and staff. We will continue to monitor the situation and to provide guidance and support for our community.
It is our hope that Hampshire College will find a path forward that allows them to continue to thrive as an innovative force in education.
