Seema Kamble

Seema Kamble works with the government of Maharashtra as a project consultant for the Maharashtra International Schools Project, which seeks to create a high-quality public school equivalent to an international education.

Seema Kamble was a student at The Akanksha Foundation, which works with children from low-income communities in the area of education. She has completed a Teach For India fellowship in Pune and has taught grades three and four in Pune municipal schools.

Education became a default option for Seema Kamble to pursue after her fellowship. She had seen the changes that could be brought about at a lower level and wanted to be able to scale it up from a macro perspective. In 2012, she joined the 3.2.1 Education Foundation as a founding team member and kindergarten teacher, and went on to become principal from 2014–2017.
