MHC major/minor: Theatre arts and international relations double major

My work today: Elections precinct clerk for the Office of Elections, Polk County, Florida

The most valuable thing MHC taught me is: You should always be true to yourself and your values. Fortunately, MHC has provided me with an amazing education and support system for doing just that.

The most important thing being SGA president taught me was:  Being SGA president taught me that, when dealing with complex issues such as race, your own identity shapes how people view the issues that you bring forward. Leadership is messy and not everyone is going to appreciate what you do, but that doesn’t mean you should not speak up.

My biggest life accomplishment to date is: Designing and implementing a leadership conference on behalf of the US Embassy in Banjul for the professional development of young Gambians.

My next big goal is: Graduate from a top law school.

Here's what I would tell a prospective student about MHC: MHC is an amazing place to be surrounded by incredibly intelligent faculty and staff who contribute to your personal growth in ways you cannot imagine.
