Professional and Non-Degree Application Process

Non-degree seeking student

Graduate level courses (for credit): Students who have a bachelor’s degree and wish to take graduate level courses for credit but not to pursue a graduate degree may enroll as non-degree graduate students. Applicants must provide transcripts (unofficial transcripts are acceptable). Students who later decide to seek a degree must meet requirements for regular admission and may petition to have the credits taken as a non-degree student applied toward their degree. Students interested in this option should complete the non-degree program application. If you need additional guidance to complete the application, please call 413-538-3478 or email graduateadmissions@mtholyoke.edu.

Non-credit courses: Our professional and graduate institutes offer intensive non-credit course options that provide learners with valuable skills for career advancement and the opportunity to network with other professionals. There is not a formal application process, rather students fill out a non-credit course registration form. After a class begins, it is not possible to switch between the non-credit and credit options. If you need additional guidance to complete the application, please call 413-538-3478 or email graduateadmissions@mtholyoke.edu.
