Hope Giles has worked in high tech for the past 35 years. She has held positions at Texas Instruments (TI) and Sun Microsystems. For the past 24 years she has been at Apple where she works in the Hardware Technologies group as the Vice President of Program Management and Infrastructure. She is a sponsor of the Hardware Tech Women's group and heavily involved in inclusion and equity initiatives at Apple.

Hope was one of the first students at Mount Holyoke to take advantage of the Engineering Dual Degree program with Dartmouth College, graduating in 1987 with a BA in Physics from MHC, and in 1988 with a Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth College.

She is married and has three children and two step-children. Her oldest daughter, Rachael Chambers, graduated from Mount Holyoke in 2017.
