Kat McGann joined the Marketing and Communications team at Mount Holyoke in spring 2026. With a diverse professional background and a BA in Film, Television, and Digital Media from the University of Michigan, Kat is dedicated to highlighting the best of the Mount Holyoke experience for students, staff, and the community.
Having previously worked in communications at Holyoke Public Schools, One Tree Planted, and Sporcle Live Trivia, Kat loves digging into analytics to understand why a message resonates. They specialize in turning that data into creative actions to reach the right audience at the right time.
In addition to fine-tuning spreadsheets and editing video, Kat enjoys reading of all sorts, sewing clothes, and collecting books on their favorite topics: Food history, geography, and the Great Lakes.
