The Compliance Department at Mount Holyoke oversees the College’s compliance with all federal and state civil rights laws and regulations. This includes but is not limited to: Title VI of the Higher Education Act of 1965, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA), Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act, and the Massachusetts 2021 Campus Sexual Assault Law.

These reports are received by the Assistant Vice President for Compliance and the Director of Civil Rights. Individuals can also choose to report anonymously via this link and in accordance with MA law.

All of the Compliance Policies work in tandem and can refer matters to each other as needed.
