I am creating a special major in animation at Mount Holyoke College. I am fascinated by all aspects of art, from drawing and illustration to filmmaking and music-writing. I have taken classes in sculpture, video production, music and technology, as well as computer animation in both Blender and Maya. Animation seems like a perfect way to combine all aspects of art, since it utilizes both traditional drawing and sculpting skills, as well as knowledge of acting and cinematography.

“Biosphere” is an animated film created in the spring 2020 semester in Bernadine Mellis’ Advanced Projects in Video Production class, using Adobe After Effects and other animation software. I was mentored in After Effects by Luke Jaeger at the Fimbel Maker & Innovation lab.
