I am currently a physician assistant (PA) doing a fellowship in psychiatry at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. My practice includes providing medical management and therapy sessions for both adults and children in inpatient and outpatient settings.
As a PA, I utilize a range of psychotropic medications with numerous mechanisms, doses, and side effects that require me to recall and apply my biochemistry knowledge on a daily basis.
