Jaime Grillo and Tayler Kreutter have been promoted to associate vice president roles at Mount Holyoke College.
Mount Holyoke College administrators Jaime Grillo and Tayler Kreutter have been promoted to associate vice president (AVP) roles.

Grillo joined the College in 2023 as the executive director of the Jones Career Development Center and has now taken on the role of AVP for career readiness. Grillo was instrumental in expanding career exploration and internship opportunities for students, deepening relationships with alums and employers, and championing the integration of career readiness into the Mount Holyoke experience. Under her leadership, the Jones Career Development Center reshaped career readiness across the College, including by significantly revising and expanding the Sophomore Institute. In her new role, she will also oversee the implementation of the College’s strategic career readiness program.
“I am honored to take on this new role and to advance career readiness across campus as a comprehensive program. With the student experience at the core of this important work, I am looking forward to continuing to support our students’ career journeys,” Grillo said. “Mount Holyoke students bring incredible talent, creativity and resilience to everything they do. Helping students connect their interdisciplinary interests to experiential education and then go on to meaningful opportunities is a privilege.”

Kreutter joined the College in 2022 as the executive director of Student Financial Services and has now assumed the role of AVP for enrollment. She is the current past-president of the Eastern Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and a member of the board of directors of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. In her tenure at Mount Holyoke, Kreutter has played a critical role in shaping student-centered financial aid and student accounts experience. She is deeply committed to advancing access and equity in higher education, and she was a central figure in the launch of the Mount Holyoke Commitment, MHC’s initiative for United States families with incomes of up to $150,000 to pay no tuition. She will oversee the implementation of Mount Holyoke’s strategic enrollment plan.
“At the heart of our work are students and families, and every decision we make is about ensuring the promise of a Mount Holyoke education remains strong,” Kreutter said. “I’m excited to step into this broader strategic role to advance an enrollment strategy rooted in excellence, rigor and long-term institutional strength.”
As AVPs, Grillo and Kreutter will continue to partner across divisions to enhance students’ experiences and ensure that Mount Holyoke remains a leading liberal arts college that fuels exploration and launches careers.
