The power in numbers

U.S. News & World Report ranks Mount Holyoke College as having one of the highest alum giving rates in the country.

The national average alum giving rate to their respective alma mater is nearly 8%. However, some colleges and universities have much higher rates of giving, and Mount Holyoke College is ranked among the highest in the U.S.

U.S. News & World Report released a list of the top 15 colleges where the most alums give back, and Mount Holyoke tied for number 8 with Duke University, with a 28% giving rate for the 2022–2023 academic year. Mount Holyoke was the highest-ranked women’s college on the list.

Gifts of all sizes from alums, big and small, have a huge impact. While alum giving contributed $17.1 million out of the $36.2 million in total gifts and pledges last fiscal year, 4,113 alums made gifts of $100 or less, totaling $237,034. Additionally, there are many ways to direct any gift, to make a difference where it matters most to alum donors.
