Departments, Offices and Centers

The Office of Environmental Health & Safety provides the campus community, including faculty, staff, students and visitors, with the support, advice and leadership necessary to maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible campus.

Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary department with courses in the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities.

Event Services acts as the liaison between campus service departments and the greater campus community. They reserve campus spaces for co-curricular events and coordinate services such as media and room access. They also coordinate summer conferences.

The Facilities Management staff is responsible for maintaining 300 acres and more than 2,000,000 square feet of property in 100+ buildings on our beautiful campus.

The Fellowships staff help to demystify the process of applying for merit-based fellowships.

The Department of Film Media Theater oversees an innovative, project-based curriculum that integrates practices of critical study with production and performance in the fields of film, media and theater.

The Fimbel Maker & Innovation Lab provides 8,000 square feet where students can implement, adapt and expand diverse concepts of creation.

The Office of Student Financial Services administers Financial Aid and student billing.

The Office of Financial Services is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable (non-student), cashiering, general accounting, purchasing, purchasing cards, trusts and estates, gift and grant accounting, and tax reporting.

The purpose of the first-generation work group is to provide programmatic initiatives necessary in supporting first-generation college students at MHC.
